




American lyric soprano, Lauren Carroll, is quickly proving herself to be an exciting talent to watch and garnering major industry attention. Ms. Carroll is enjoying her first season as a Cafritz Young Artist of the Washington National Opera. This season, she will debut at The Kennedy Center and make a number of role debuts.

Ms. Carroll had an extremely successful second summer at the Aspen Music Festival where she performed the role of Fiordiligi in Renée Fleming's directorial debut of Così fan tutte.
Ms. Carroll was named a National Semifinalist in the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition in the 2025 Season.
In January 2025, Carroll was awarded Third Prize in the Houston Grand Opera's Eleanor McCollum Competition for Young Singers.

During the 24/25 season, Ms. Carroll was a Laufer Young Artist with Palm Beach Opera. She made her PBO debut at the Kravis Center in the role of Barbarina, in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro. She also covered the iconic prima donna roles of Juliette in Roméo et Juliette by Gounod, and Violetta in Verdi’s La traviata.
